What is Obesity?

It is a condition in which excess fat accumulates in body. Putting on weight, inability to perform daily activities, breathlessness are some common complaints. In ayurveda, it is called Stoulya.

  • 1 tsp of fresh honey with juice of one lime in a glass of water twice daily is an effective remedy for obesity.
  • Taking two ripened tomatoes in early hours will reduce weight.
  • Taking cabbage salad everyday reduces weight within 2 months.
  • Taking 1 tsp of dried ginger daily in early hours helps in reducing weight.
  • Long pepper powder 500 mg twice daily reduces weight.
  • Indian gooseberry powder 2-3gms in warm water will reduce weight.
  • Asafoetida 250 mg twice daily in a glass of warm, water reduces weight.
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice with a pinch of baking soda also helps in reducing weight.
