What is Bronchitis?

Bronchitis is a condition in which inflammation occurs to the respiratory passages making air entry difficult and has the symptoms like cough, fever and breathlessness.

  • Taking ½ teaspoon of turmeric in one glass of warm milk, 2 – 3 times daily will be beneficial for bronchitis.
  • Mixture of juices made from ½ teaspoon each of Pepper, Cloves and ginger, 2-3 times a day will give quick relief from Bronchitis.
  • Powder Sunthi (dried ginger), Pippali (long pepper) and Maricha (black pepper) - all three mix in equal quantities. Depending on the severity of disease, give half teaspoon of mixture 3-4 times a day.
  • Chewing elaichi 2 - 3 times daily soothes throat and reduce episodes of cough.
