The Oscar fever is finally over. In our first attempt to predict the outcome of topical events, we did not do so badly. Of course you are the final judge. We set out to predict the winners in five categories. The Best Film, The Best director, The Best Actor, The Best Actress, and finally Best song and Best Music director. We managed to predict correctly on the first two as well as the last two categories. On the Best Actress award, you may give us benefit of doubt as we did mention, that between Angelina Jolie and Kate Winstler, it is going to be very close to call and either of them can be the winner. However on the Actor front we were totally wrong.
The next event that is already on and which probably has a greater fever is going to be the cricket series between India and New Zeeland especially in the Indian sub continent and the sub continent Diaspora settled all around the world. I presume many of them are our members also. I would like to inform that we are working on the methodology and will check our results over the first two T 20 matches and if we are satisfied that the system works then we shall come with the ODI predictions from next week.
Coming to methodology, we thought we shall share with you this time the methodologies used for such predictions.
The most common methodology used by most astrologers are based on “Question Charts” This is a very unique technique in Vedic astrology which was first formulated by the ancient sage Parashar.. Subsequently this was further evolved by Tajic astrologers from central Asia to bring better accuracy. In modern times Krishnamurthy developed his Krishnamurthy Paddhati which is very complex and claims to bring far greater accuracy in the prediction.
With globalization, came the great media events like cricket, football and the punters around the globe have joined in to gamble on the results of future events and accept bets, which go to the extent of several millions of dollars. These punters are known to avail of services of astrologers to help them decide on the odds that they offer. Most astrologers associated with such activities essentially use the question chart principle using classical techniques or Krishnamurthy Paddhati.
