Indian election results are out ! Indian electorate has voted for stability, progress and harmony. It is not a fractured mandate, but a clear mandate in favor of Congress and it’s UPA allies.

First thing First ! We were wrong along with all other poll stars.

It is not a moment of glory for us as astrologer. It is a moment of shame for us. However, as an Indian it is a moment of joy for us. The Indian electorate has consciously voted for stability, progress and harmony going above the fault lines in our society of cast, religion, language and region.

Our congratulation to Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Mr. Manmohon Singh and Mr. Rahul Gandhi for their wonderful victory. I am sure NDA , Left front, AIADMK and the others who lost will introspect to analyze “What went wrong” for them?”

However ,it is also important for us to analyze what went wrong with our predictions? We based our predictions on the basis of charts of the critical players.

We will review them to see “Where we went wrong”.

In our article on The Great Indian Democracy Maha Yagna published on (6th April 2009 ), we had clearly mentioned that Sonia’s Karma Index values for April and May were most favorable and was much better than Advani.

The lines read, “You will observe April/May the election month Karma index values are both greater than 100. The Vocation index values are also almost around 100. Soul index are both higher than 100. Desire index are positive but not very high except during month of August. Also spouse index is uniformly high and higher throughout the year except for one negative month during August. The dark clouds against her is destiny index uniformly negative with lowest value during September 2009. The astrological signature indicates that she will lead a magnificent and confident campaign for Congress. She will be highly successful in creating a post poll alliances to stake her claim and to form the government once again under the UPA banner.” We did predict that under Sonia’s leadership UPA will run a very successful campaign and UPA will form the next government after post poll alliance.

However ,we completely mis- read the negative and low Karma Index values during the end of the year and mis- interpreted it as UPA will again have to depend heavily on other parties with different agendas and the government will not be stable and will be pulled in different directions.

Well, UPA will need the support of only 11 more MPs to reach the magic figure, but in reality UPA does not have to seek the numbers because every other party from 4th front or independents and even some members from NDA other than BJP or JDU will be too eager to join the UPA bandwagon. The problem with UPA is really going to be a problem of plenty and it will be difficult for them to say no to the other parties who will want to support.

• Our first mistake was to be influenced by all the newspaper reports and exit poll results which predicted a heavily fractured mandate and not having sufficient faith in the clear astrology signatures. This is the reason why we talked about Kaal Sharpa Yoga and Sharad Pawar emerging as a dark horse.
  
  
• Secondly our biggest blunder was to completely ignore the India Karma Index signature which showed a clear peak in it’s Karma Index and Vocation Index on 23rd May 2009, and we did predict that the new government will be sworn in around 23rd May, 2009 which was published in the article Indian Politics on 15th May 2009. If there was such a fractured mandate then 7 days are clearly too short a period to complete all the negotiations and horse trading .

In our articles and in our last mail we had mentioned that the  UPA will form the government but we could not predict correctly the "Margin of Victory" for UPA. We completely ignored this clear astrological evidence in India’s Karma Index and was completely swayed by media reports and exit poll results.

As astrologer this was our biggest moment of shame and we accept our error of judgment in all humility. The science of Astrology did not loose, but it is us who made the mistake.
