It is the condition where abnormal dilatation of the veins in the rectum and the anal region. Pain and itching in anal region, bleeding during defecation are main symptoms of the piles. Generally it is associated with constipation. In Ayurveda it is termed as "Arsas".
Chew and drink the juice of tender leaves of Tamarind tree. A glass of decoction prepared from the tamarind tree leaves for 10 ? 15 days beneficial in piles.
Few drops of Banyan tree latex in a cup of milk twice daily treats the piles.
Eat Onion and Cumin seeds / Jeera fried in Ghee with Sugar candy daily.
Take the juice of Neem fruit with Jaggery. Dose 1tsp.
Take 5 ml juice of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) with Honey and Buttermilk thrice a day.
1gm of dry fig fruit every day gives relief from piles.
1tsp of mango seed powder twice daily with cool water gives relief from bleeding piles.
10gms crushed onion with cold water is to be taken to control bleeding piles.
Sesame seeds paste gives relief from bleeding piles.
Half teaspoon of chebulic myroblan at bedtime gives relief from piles.
