What is Conjunctivites ?
It is a contagious disease causing redness, irritation and watering of the eyes. In Ayurveda, it is mentioned as "Abhishyanda".
- Usage of Alum soaked water as Eye drops will relieve Conjunctivitis.
- Juice of Indian gooseberry mixed with honey is useful in treating conjunctivitis.
- Decoction prepared from coriander seeds (10gms) in 60ml of water is excellent eyewash in conjunctivitis.
