Sugar cane promotes the production and free flow of urine. The juice you obtain by chewing and sucking it is aphrodisiac, cooling, laxative and nourishing, while machine-pressed juice is irritating. Jaggery, which is created by boiling the juice, gets heavier as it concentrates; it increases marrow, blood, fat, flesh, and worms. The purer the sugar produced from the juice, the cooler it is.
