Mr. Satrajit Majumdar founded Cyberastro Limited in 1997 with a vision that through internet it will be possible to provide healing services with the help of Vedic astrology, to every corner of the globe. In his own words, "he discovered the power of internet in 1996. It was also in 1996 only that he devoted 15 hours everyday to serious and professional study of Vedic astrology."
He is a graduate in electrical engineering and post graduate in Marketing Management. Before starting Cyberastro Limited, he had more than 20 years of experience in IT industry in India. He had hold key positions in IT industry and then became an entrepreneur and started his own software development companies. He had always been ahead of his time and was developing cutting edge software in data base development and GIS services even as early as 1987. Cyberastro.com was also a pioneering venture of his, which was the first e-commerce website, started in India in 1997. He is also the member of Board of Directors and with his efficient leadership he has been giving valuable guidance to Cyberastro to maintain the quality and give better service to our members.
Today his vision has turned into a reality. We have more than 350 thousand members in 192 countries around the world.
PRADEEP GUPTA - Director and Chairman of the Board
Pradeep Gupta is the Chairman of the Board of Cyber Astro and provides valuable guidance & direction to the strategies & technologies used by Cyber Astro.
He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology - Delhi and holds a Masters in Business Administration from IIM-Calcutta. He started his career with HCL, which he left to start his own venture - Cyber Media.
Pradeep Gupta heads the Cyber Media Group and is a Director/Chairman on
the Boards of many Indian IT companies.
DR. J.N. PANDEY- Chief Operating Officer
He is organized, deeply rooted to his tradition, a man of word and committed to his work—this is Dr J N Pandey for you. Hailing from a traditional family of pundits no doubt he took up astrology and emerged as an eminent astrologer.
A graduate from Banaras Hindu University in Astrology, he did his post graduation in Vedic Astrology from the same university. He was selected, as National Scholar by University Grants Commission of the Government of India in 1992 to conduct research in Vedic astrology at Banaras Hindu University. He was also the Asst. Editor for the Almanac (Viswa Panchanga) published regularly by Banaras Hindu University. He was awarded his PhD in Vedic Astrology by Banaras Hindu University in 1996. His thesis for Doctorate research was on Astrological Computations for non-luminous planets. He is exclusively associated with cyberastro as Chief astrologer right from the inception of the company.
