Saturn is naturally a malefic planet. There are always some malefic effects are associated with Saturn, and each one of us may experience it at some point in our life. In general for people who have Taurus Ascendant or Libra Ascendant, Saturn is functionally the most beneficial planet in their chart being both lords of the Angular house as well as the Trinal house. Saturn is called “Yoga karaka” in their chart; it is the planet which brings all the opportunities in their life.
People who have Capricorn Ascendant or Aquarius Ascendant, Saturn is also functionally a beneficial planet for them being the Lord or the ruling planet for their Ascendant.
